Pygmy Marmoset Fun Fact: A fun fact about the pygmy marmoset is that it’s the smallest monkey in the world! Weighing just about 100 grams (3.5 ounces) and measuring around 12-16 cm (5-6 inches) without the tail, these tiny monkeys are so small that they can fit in the palm of your hand. Despite their size, pygmy marmosets are incredibly agile, using their sharp claws to cling to tree trunks and leap between branches as they search for their favorite food—tree sap!
